Will chest x-ray show lung cancer?

Chest x-rays can detect certain signs of lung cancer, such as tumors or abnormal masses in the lungs. However, it’s important to note that chest x-rays may not always be able to detect lung cancer in its early stages or in certain instances where the tumor is small or located in a challenging position. Other imaging tests, such as CT scans or PET scans, are more sensitive in detecting lung cancer. If you are concerned about lung cancer, it’s best to consult with a healthcare professional who can guide you through the appropriate diagnostic process.
